Reiki and Juicing and Healthy Stuff

Today I wanted to talk about a few things that are going on in my life besides writing. I love writing and will continue to do so but I also wanted to share my Reiki website. I got into Reiki several years ago when I was looking for something to help with an autoimmune condition. After a few months and doing levels one and two I was able to go off the immune suppressing drugs I was on. I went on to take the advanced level of Reiki and then a couple years later, the master and teacher level. Here's the link to my fb Reiki page www.facebook.com/shariroodreiki I'll also add an image that has my Reiki website address if you want to take a look.

The other thing I am excited about is juicing. I live in Virginia where the climate is beautiful but spring and fall can be tough because of the crazy high pollen count here.

I get bronchitis almost every spring and this year is no exception. When we were living in South Africa, I didn't get sick at all so I really do think it's the climate. Still, there are things I can do to help myself heal. I've been giving myself Reiki which helps a lot but so does drinking fresh juice. I'm not talking about the awful bottled stuff you get from the store but using a juicer and making your own.

My favorite is pineapple, carrot, apple with a small amount of ginger.

Today I made a more veggie based juice with cabbage, carrot, ginger, celery and apple.

It was delicious, oh so delicious. It's helping me feel better too. I've known about juicing for years but got re-inspired by Joe Cross. He was the guy that did that fantastic documentary called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. It's on Netflix if you want to watch it.

So, check out my website if you want to learn about Reiki or book a treatment.

Cheers from Virginia
